1. Who we are
Money is Time ("the tool") is provided by Notla Ventures Limited ("we", "us", "our"),
a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16673455. Our registered
office is at 144 Walter Road, Swansea, SA1 5RW. You can contact us at

2. These terms
By using the tool you agree to these Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and
Cookies Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the tool. The tool is
provided free of charge.
3. What the tool does
The tool converts a price you enter into an estimate of the working time needed to earn
that amount, based on the pay, hours and other figures you provide. It uses simplified
assumptions, including: 52 paid weeks a year; a 9:00am start to the working day; income
tax and National Insurance rates and thresholds for England and Wales for the 2026/27 tax
year; a standard tax code; annualised National Insurance thresholds; a simplified
treatment of workplace pension contributions (a net pay arrangement); standard student
loan repayment thresholds; and, where you enter an age, a flat projection of your current
pay and hours to your chosen retirement age. Its outputs are estimates and illustrations
only and will not exactly match your payslip or your personal tax position.
4. Not advice
The tool provides general information and illustrations only. It does not provide
financial, investment, tax, pensions, debt or legal advice, and nothing it produces is a
personal recommendation or an assessment of your circumstances. No adviser and client
relationship is created by your use of the tool. Notla Ventures Limited is not authorised
or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. You should not make financial decisions
in reliance on the tool. Check figures against official sources such as GOV.UK, or take
advice from a suitably qualified professional, before acting.
5. Your inputs
Calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not receive, see or store the figures or
descriptions you enter. See our Privacy Policy for details, including how the optional
share-link feature works.
6. Accuracy and currency
We take reasonable care to keep the figures used by the tool up to date. Statutory figures
reflect the position as at 14 July 2026, including 2026/27 income tax, National Insurance
and student loan thresholds and the National Living Wage in force from 1 April 2026. Rates
and thresholds change, typically each April, and we do not warrant that the tool or its
outputs are accurate, complete or current at the time you use it.
7. Availability
We may modify, suspend or withdraw the tool at any time without notice. We do not
guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
8. Acceptable use
You must use the tool only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- interfere with or disrupt the tool or the servers and networks on which it is hosted;
- introduce viruses or other malicious or technologically harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the tool or its infrastructure;
- systematically scrape, copy or reproduce the tool or substantial parts of its content;
- remove or obscure any notices displayed in the tool; or
- present the tool's outputs as personalised advice given by us.
9. Intellectual property
The tool and its content, including its text, design, graphics and underlying code, are
owned by us or our licensors. You may use the tool, and share individual results and links
it produces, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce,
adapt or redistribute the tool or substantial parts of its content without our prior
written permission.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury
caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other
liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to that: the tool is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available"; to the
fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all conditions, warranties and representations
that might otherwise be implied; and we will not be liable for any loss or damage,
including financial loss, arising from your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the
tool or its outputs. If you use the tool as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects
your statutory rights. If you use the tool in the course of a business, we will in any
event have no liability to you for loss of profits, loss of business, business
interruption or loss of business opportunity.
11. Third-party resources
Any references or links to third-party websites or resources, such as GOV.UK, are provided
for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their content.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its last updated
date, will always be available from the tool. Your continued use of the tool after a
change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions
will continue in full force. A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of
it. These terms do not create any rights enforceable by third parties under the Contracts
(Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and
Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern
Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the benefit of
any mandatory consumer protections under the law of the part of the United Kingdom in
which you live.
